Recently a new drug appeared on the black market. It is created by a facility that used to create new medicines to cure diseases that where deemed incurable. However at the discovery of this new drug their goal has slowly changed over the course of a few years. Now people from all over the world come to them and put them in a sleep-like state. It has so many success that the Government tried to put a stop to it without much success.
Scientists have entered the stage and try to find out why the new drug has the effect it has on the people that consume it everyday. Sometimes they take it themselves and enter in the world that they have started calling Endonia.
The goal that some of them hold close, has faded in others and they have become a constant presence in the other world. Forever locked in their Dreams. They are called the Guardians, although they call themselves by something different and hold everything they've gathered on information close to their heart. They ensure that the law, that they created, is upheld by everyone. Even by others of their kind, with a zealous eye.
Also there are the citizens, people who live everyday lives and either join in on the fun that Endonia allows and to escape their daily lives. It isn't without dangers however, next to the Guardians and the Government, there are also the Dreamers. Those who are stuck just as the Scientists are. Or maybe they have always been there, whatever they are. They should be treated cautiously.
People that return from this dream world called Endonia are never quite the same. Their hearts keep yearning to return to that place and allow one to succumb to its lure. That is one of the reasons why the Government is trying to stop every use of the drug and regain order.
Of course no one is safe in the end. No matter what they choose to do.
